Gaon Film Festival is a travelling rural cinema initiative by VPRA Foundation that screens socially relevant films in villages. Each screening is followed by open discussions, encouraging dialogue on education, health, women empowerment, and community development to inspire awareness, participation, and positive grassroots change.

VPRA Foundation’s Film Workshop initiative delivers hands-on training in camera operation, smartphone videography and digital content creation. From tribal artists in Jamshedpur to engineering students, the workshops build practical media skills, ethical storytelling awareness and independent content production capabilities for emerging creators.

VPRA Foundation makes partnership for the Mix Gender Cricket League, an innovative initiative by Nischay Foundation promoting gender equality in rural Jharkhand. This village cricket tournament combined sport, menstrual awareness education and youth leadership, empowering girls and sensitising boys through inclusive mixed-team competition.
